The Mettlehawk Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing education, research, and responsible innovation in uncrewed systems — while supporting the veterans and professionals who have shaped this field.

Education & Competitions

We sponsor drone competitions, technical challenges, and hands-on learning programs that inspire the next generation of engineers, operators, and innovators. From student hackathons to international drone events, we create opportunities for practical learning and real-world application.

Research & Collaboration

We work with universities, think tanks, and research institutions to explore how uncrewed systems and emerging technologies — including AI and robotics — are shaping the modern world. Our focus is on open, educational research that advances public understanding and responsible use of these technologies.

Global Programs & Partnerships

We support international collaboration by sponsoring educational exchanges, training programs, and research initiatives around the world. This includes partnerships with organizations and training centers working to expand access to uncrewed systems education in developing and post-conflict environments.
